Homework
Homework in 3rd grade will be sent home nightly Monday through Thursday and is due the following day. Homework should be checked by parents to ensure that it has been done neatly and completely and the student agenda should be checked and signed by a parent nightly. Spelling words and a reading record sheet will come home on Mondays. All 3rd grade students should be reading 20-30 minutes daily. Reading books need to be at an appropriate reading level. Please make sure that your child has a quiet place in which to do their homework and that it is well-equipped with all the things they will need to successfully complete their assignments (pencils, paper, crayons, markers, scissors, ruler, etc.).
