Hello, my name is Rebecca Romero. I am a 3rd grade teacher at Mariposa Elementary. It is my fifth year at this wonderful school! I know it is going to be a fun and engaging year full of growth, development, and lots of smiles!

 

I graduated from CSUF, with a BA in History in 2014. Learning and teaching is a great passion of mine. I grew up in the Brea schools and attended Arovista, BJH, and BOHS. My mom was a fifth grade teacher at Arovista!

 

I have many hobbies including gardening, reading, cooking, scrapbooking and a love of many “nerdy” things.

 

I am truly blessed with a loving family, partner, and dog. Feel free to reach out to me with any questions or comments!

Room 6's Basic Daily Schedule
  • 8:45 to 9:00 Morning Work
  • 9:00 to 9:15 Read Aloud
  • 9:15 to 10:10 Benchmark ELA
  • 10:10 to 10:45 ELA Rotations
  • 10:45 to 11:00 Recess
  • 11:00 to 12:30 Math
  • 12:30 to 1:10 Lunch
  • 1:10 to 1:30 SSR
  • 1:30 to 2:30 Science, Social Studies, or Writing
  • 2:30 to 2:55 Wind-down/ Clean
 
PE is twice a week on Tuesday's and Friday's (1:15 to 2:10). Please make sure to wear appropriate clothes and to bring a water bottle!
