Exciting things are happening at Mariposa Elementary School! We are thrilled to introduce our brand-new Mariposa CoDrone Program, an exciting opportunity for students in grades 4–6 to explore the world of technology, coding, and drone flight!
Led by our very own Dr. Torres, this innovative program will give students hands-on experience while developing important skills in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
Throughout the program, students will have the opportunity to learn:
🚁 Coding with Drones – Discover how coding can bring technology to life!
✈️ Flight Skills & Safety – Learn how to safely operate and control drones.
💡 Problem-Solving – Develop critical thinking skills through exciting challenges.
🤝 Teamwork – Work together, communicate, and build confidence.
⚙️ STEM Fun – Explore science and technology in an engaging, hands-on environment!

Building Bright Futures!
This school year marks the pilot year of our Mariposa CoDrone Program, and we couldn't be more excited! We currently plan to offer two sessions, with the possibility of adding more based on student interest.
Looking ahead, our goal is to expand the program and provide opportunities for students to participate in official drone competitions. We hope to build competitive teams where students can showcase the incredible skills they develop.
At Mariposa Elementary, we believe in creating opportunities that inspire creativity, innovation, and a love for learning. This program is another exciting way we are helping our Monarchs discover new interests, challenge themselves, and reach new heights!
